Where Can I Find Cheap, Reliable Car Insurance For A New Male Driver Aged 18?

I keep getting ridiculous quotes of £2000-£3000. Any companies would be a huge help please. Thank you!

  1. Try getting an online insurance quote It’s free and generally hassle free. http://www.simpleautoquotes.com/Auto-Ins…
    Good Luck!

  3. You cant … That is what it costs. Possibly a bit cheaper adding the youngster to an established policy but a huge jump in premium will result.. Otherwise wait for a few years, Mind you a year or two No Claims and increased age will see ensuing years quite a bit cheaper.. The car used might make a difference. But you have to expect this huge premium at first. Young drivers are such a big risk to the insurance companies.

  5. For automobile insurance the quick way to get a low rate is do a rate comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you compare similar options with the same deductibles, car model, location, etc so that all options are an accurate comparison.
What I always recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have top name insurers and can give many prices on auto insurance polices.

  7. That is what a new male driver has to pay…and do you know why? Because they are the most dangerous drivers on the road.
I don’t want to have to pay for their accidents thank you!
You wont find it any cheaper….however, the smaller and older the car the cheaper it gets….far too many boy racers around
EDIT..that is just a predictable answer and is very interesting…re-read my answer..I did NOT insinuate in any way I thought it was your “new 18 year old driver” and thought you would react to it…I don’t know whether he is or is not…how could I? So is he a boy racer then?..you have insinuated he is!

  9. put yr details into confused.com or a similar comparison site and they will come up with the cheapest for u. some companies allow a discount if they do the Pass Plus which is a few extra lessons for which they get a cert with their driving instructor its worth the money it reduced my daughters insurance considerably. the other thing woudl be to put yrself on the insurance that lowers it too. my son passed his test this week (hes 21) and it cost £50 to add him to his g/f’s car for the last 2 months of the policy.
