  1. I use Allstate and I have been pretty happy with them so far.

  3. I have State farm. they are the cheapest in PA. The only insurance carrier in PA that will give you medical coverage in the case of an accident is Progressive though….but htey are EXPENSIVE! AND, if you wreck and have hospital bills, they will only pay AFTER your regular health insurance!
    example – My 2006 600rr…. Statefarm = $196 full coverage, progressive = $985…….. my 2006 R1…. Statefarm = $302 full coverage, Progressive = $1058
these quotes are for a one year policy.
Progressive not only determines the size and value of the bike, but they also add surcharges for the style of bike. Many other insurance companies are the same.
ALSO, most places will not tell you ….. if you have auto and motorcycle insurance and you deny the FULL TORT option on one of your policies….it will automatically cancel that option on the other policy even if you are paying for it. That could possibly be only in PA, but I doubt it. May want to check with your policy holder.

  5. I think you are done shopping a bit too early. You have only asked 4 companies and they are so big they don’t need your business so much.
I pay $320 a year and I have a car and a bike and a home on it. But yeah, vehicles are liability only. Still, good luck paying double (and that’s only for a bike?)
