Do All States Now Allow Auto Insurance Companies To Check Your Credit?
A few years ago when I lived in Oregon Auto insurers could (and did) check your credit but Washington law didn’t allow it- you could get car insurance without giving out your social security number. I am in Nebraska and need to know- do I have to give out my SSN to insurers?

Auto Insurance And Credit Reports, What Does One Have To Do With The Other?
Does any one but me think its bull that one can be refused auto insurance or pay a higher premium because their credit score may be lower than some other guys. Why on earth are we letting car insurance companies get buy with this? Even auto insurance companies having access to our creit history makes no sence and is a further invasion of our privacy. This practice should be outlawed.

What Are The Consequences If I Just Stop Making My Credit Card Payments?
I have a very large credit card balance; I made the mistake of buying a boat on the card because the interest rate was better; boat sank and insurance did not cover it so now I currently have $55K in credit card balances with no asset. I am now having money issues and my only solution right now is just to stop making payments on 2 of 3 credit cards. So… if it goes to collections and I just don’t pay will I still be responsible for the balance years later? Can I be in trouble legally? Will it affect my other credit card from a different company? What am I not considering here? Should I consider bankruptcy instead?

Why Do Auto Insurance Company Need Your Date Of Birth And A Credit Check Before Getting Insurance?
My wife is annoyed at the fact as am I that first auto insurance is so damn high for women. Also we are annoyed at why they now want personal info like your date of birth and credit check. Why is it that it is this way? I think it is Stupid for credit checks always have.
