i haven’t had insurance since leaving a job with a good plan about 5 years ago and i’m (haha, pun intended) *sick* of it! webMD and i can only do so much, and i’m beginning to think the doctor at the clinic i’ve been going to doesn’t know what she’s doing.

Individual Health Insurance, For Emergency Only.?
Does anyone have experience buying their medical insurance through the individual packages? Thankfully I haven’t had the need to go to the doctors in a few years, I think the health rates through my employer are way too expensive for an individual and was going to opt-out this year. However I’m told from everyone “you need insurance in case of an accident” which makes sense as you don’t want to have to pay 150K for a hospital stay. Do insurance companies offer packages for emergency visits only? I don’t need to see a doctor every year, I don’t have to have drugs, I just need it for the emergencies everyone talks about.

My Neigbor Complains Constantly About His Lack Of Health Insurance?
But he does have 2 boats, nice car, pickup truck (gas guzzler), large flat TV, laptop, dsl, atv, recent home remodel, Central AC, rec room with pool table and stocked bar, dinner out every week, riding mower (I push mine).
