I Was Involved In A Hit And Run And Need Help With What To Do Next.?
I was rear-ended by someone while pulling a boat. They damaged both of the motors, took off, a witness followed them and came back with the license plate number and left me his information. The police came and took the report. Basically they told me there is nothing I can do because the person driving will deny it and even with a witness it “generally doesn’t get very far”. I went down to the police station and the officer did not follow up on anything. The police won’t give me the car owners information. The boat only has liability insurance and my home and car insurance doesn’t cover it. I just want the person responsible to pay for fixing the motors and I can’t understand why the police won’t follow up at all. Does anyone know what I should do next?

I Need Cheap Car Insurance!!?
I’m 17 and I have been driving my car for 6 months as a learner with my mum at the side of me (she didn’t teach me!). I passed my test just before Christmas and now my insurance has gone from £1400 to £4000! Gutted. anyone know of any cheap insurance companies/methods to bring it down?
I have tried comparison websites, the cheapest is £3000. I only want third party fire and theft and I can’t use my mums no claims because my brother uses them for his.

My Mom Is 61 Yrs Old Does Not Have Insurance And Just Found Out She Needs A Hip Replacement. Need Advice.?
The doctor told her the surgery would cost approximately $30,000. My mom is a widow, is retired from heavy highway construction after 22 years, she is cannot work right now due to poor health. (she was working part-time with her brothers who are in the commercial fishing industry on Lake Michigan, but working on the boat at her age and health is too much, so now she doesn’t even have that income). Are there any options for her to get help for this surgery. She is not old enough for Medicare or Medicaid (not sure which it is, sorry). I’m trying to get educated here so I can find her some help. She’s in a lot of pain. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated or where we could go for help. And I don’t think she’s old enough for social security yet.

I was needing to have an fr44. The loophole here is that in the state of florida one does not need insurance while driving a motorcycle. Am i still required to have an fr44 (sr22)? Moreover, if i choose to not have insurance for three years and not drive, will i still need the fr44 for three years anyway?
